Plans for dinghies, dayboats, sail and oar craft
Sailing dinghy plans for the single-hander and home builder, yet capable of good performance sailed two-up.
The bare hull panels come out of 4 sheets of 5 mm ply. An additional 4 sheets are required to complete. Construction is by stitch and glue - stitch and tape - and with but 4 panels either side can be cut out and assembled quite quickly. Although simple in construction, no compromises have been made to the performance, handling or looks. For the single-hander, this is a fast and distinctive lug sail racer. This design is not intended for the beginner in either sailing or building - even though the plans are detailed - but for the individual looking for an exhilarating and quite inexpensive racing machine.
Plans are on 7 A1 sheets with 20 A4 sheets of guidance and keyed description.
