"Bare bones" designs

"Bare bones" designs: in almost each case, the lines, offsets and sail plan are intended to be used with the appropriate full plan set of a related, but slightly smaller design from the same range for both construction and fitting out detail. So the Annie 18 with the Pearl 16, the Electra 19 with the Electra 16, the TT19 with the Apple 16. As such, they are not intended for the inexperienced builder or novice sailer.

  1. Apple TT19 Swift - gunter rigged yawl: a longer, wider version of the 16, and superceding the original 18. Lines, strakes, frames/bulkheads for stitch and glue construction, and inverted mould set up for stringered multi-chine/glued clinker construction, with a gunter yawl sail plan.
  2. Apple SW19 - moderate displacement/freeboard day boat/ camp cruiser, cutter rigged; lines, offsets, strake layout, sail plan.
  3. Annie 18: moderate displacement larger version of Pearl - lines and offsets; clinker mould set up; strake layout for multi-chine; round-bilge set up; 3 sail plans
  4. Electra 19 - lines and mould details, offsets, strake usage/layout, sail and spar plans.

PLEASE NOTE: PDF files are sold on the understanding that, because of their nature, they are non-refundable; that they are not exchangeable for a different design nor a printed plan set; that as with the printed plans they allow the original purchaser to build only one hull or craft; and that copyright is retained by the designer. Please do not purchase or attempt to purchase such plans if you do not understand and agree to these conditions. As the files are in precisely the same format as those used for reproduction of the printed plans offered, any reputable printshop will be able to print them to the highest of standards.
